Summer 2023 Results for Giving Guest Program

HOW DOES A BUSINESS DECIDE WHO TO GIVE THE DONATIONS TO?
A business can choose to always benefit one of the six sectors, or they can choose to spread their donations across all sectors. They can choose to round up at the register, ask for a dollar amount donation at check out, sell a dedicated product, or find the best method for their business.

Benefiting sectors by month during the summer 2023 were:

• May = Conservation, Environment, Recreation
• June = Arts and Culture
• July = Community and Education
• August = Emergency and Human Services
• September = Youth and Families
• October = Healthcare and Wellness

November 2023 - April 2024 will benefit all participating nonprofits. Donations collected over those six months will be divided equally among all sectors.

EPNRC recognizes downtown Estes Park retailer Trendz for stepping up as the first business to support the Giving Guest program. Guests are asked if they would like to "round up for local nonprofits" at the register.

Participating Nonprofits Serving the Estes Valley, Summer 2023 and Winter 2024 

Registration for Summer 2024 and Winter 2025 is March 1 - St. Patricks Day. Nonprofits must provide a current Secretary of State Certificate of Good Standing. ​

Any way you look at it, the guests of the Estes Valley are proud of visiting Estes Park. Guests can show their pride by contributing toward a sustainable future in the Estes Valley.
