Strong Nonprofits = Strong Community
The Estes Park Nonprofit Resource Center's mission is to provide tools that support, connect, and inspire community nonprofits. The values of the EPNRC are capacity building, community and collaboration.
Capacity building is about inspiring nonprofit organizations in the quest of performance improvement, effective stewardship of resources, and organizational sustainability. The second value is placing community interest over self-interest. Collaboration means nonprofit organizations working together, and with the business and government (public) sectors to continually improve the quality of life for the Estes Park community.

The Nonprofit Resource Center is a BBB Accredit Charity. Each year, we organize BBB trainings that act as a health check for nonprofit finances, board governance, and organizational transparency. This accreditation is a standard on any grant application for United Way of Larimer County. Email Laurie to find out more about the cohort!

The Nonprofit Resource Center was started by a few community members wanting to "Do what we can for area nonprofits." There was a desire to share more information between local agencies, avoid duplication, and encourage collaboration. Over 70 nonprofits are registered in 80517 and more located outside of Estes that service the local community. Over 50 nonprofits belong to the Estes Park Nonprofit Resource Center, along with a scores of people who just think supporting the nonprofit community-at-large is a great idea.
