Estes Valley Legacy will continue to build on the success of their one-year campaign for planned gifts. New nonprofits are encouraged to learn more about planned gifts, 80% of which are bequests. This can be as simple as changing the beneficiary on a life insurance policy, stocks, or checking account. Join us!

BECAUSE YOU LOVE ESTES PARK
Over 100 nonprofit organizations serve the Estes Valley, making it the community you love so much!  The Estes Valley Legacy nonprofits are committed to their individual missions and to ensuring that the needs of the community and guests are met. Your gift to the nonprofit of your choice truly does make a difference.

WHY NOW?
The Baby Boomers and Silent Generation are aging; the greatest transfer of wealth in our nation's history will take place over the next 20 years. That transfer or wealth can be of great benefit to our local nonprofits.

WHY YOU?

Whether you live, work, or play in Estes Park, your contribution can make great impact. Gifts small and large are important. What services do you think are vital in this community? How do you want to create impact? You get to direct your planned gift. You don't have to be wealthy to make a planned gift either. If a $1000 check showed up today at any given nonprofit office, don't you think they would shake the tambourine?
OUR SERVICES
  • We offer private, confidential planned gift counseling, including illustrations and proposals, free of charge.
  • We host educational programs for the public regarding planned and estate giving.
  • We market planned and estate giving to Estes Valley residents online, 2x/year enewsletters, social media, print pieces and local media.
  • We connect interested persons with qualified legal and financial professionals, as well as planned gift management firms (foundations and trust companies) for the establishment and management of gift plans.
  • We feature and promote – tastefully, jointly and equally – Estes Valley nonprofit organizations, while honoring at all times the prospective donor’s complete charitable interests, without restriction to local organizations.

Anyone making a gift to an Estes Valley Legacy nonprofit are invited to be part of Fall River Society, a town-wide group of planned givers.
Estes Valley Legacy’s Fall River Society honors and recognizes donors who commit to charitable bequests to local nonprofits. An annual ice cream social in August honors existing members and welcomes new members to the group.
