Give Long & Prosper: Exploring Legacy Giving
Monday, August 7, 2017 * 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies
Did you know that people who give live longer? I am absolutely certain there is a study proving this! True or not, you can do things today to make sure your love for the Estes Valley lasts forever.
This hands-on workshop shows you how to provide enough for you, enough for your family and enough for the future of this heaven on earth called Estes Park.
Here’s what Estes Park residents Ginger and Ivan Wilkinson have to say about workshop presenter, Jerry Kennell:
“We spent approximately one hour with Jerry Kennell, EVL Representative, as he explored giving options, goals and tools for giving. This encounter has motivated us to consider modifications to our will and to have discussions with our children as to how they may be impacted by our decisions. We hope our example will encourage you to also evaluate your position in relation to the Legacy giving.”
It’s so easy not to bother. And the government loves it. They have a plan for your legacy if you don’t have your own. So come on out – in fact, show up at 6:00 PM for light refreshments provided by our hosts, Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies, 1700 Brodie Avenue. And the coolest thing is, we can guarantee you’ll have a parking spot on a lovely summer evening in Estes Park!
Estes Valley Legacy is a collaboration of 17 of your favorite local nonprofits, pooling resources to offer the public education and free confidential estate gift planning services. EVL is a program of Estes Park Nonprofit Resource Center.
