All About Volunteers
EPNRC Lunch & Learn Roundtable Discussion

Thursday, February 8, 2018 * Noon 1:30 pm
Estes Valley Library, Hondius Room

It’s the beginning of the year and we all start thinking about how we are going to recruit, train, engage, retain and recognize our volunteers – the lifeblood of many of our organizations.  Any organization that utilizes volunteers to achieve their mission is invited to this roundtable discussion as we learn from and share with each other.

  • How do you recruit, train, engage and recognize your volunteers?
  • Do you get a positive response from volunteers?
  • Do you have an annual event, an ongoing recognition process, informal recognition?
  • Do you think recognition programs help retain volunteers?
  • What unique challenges do you face when working with volunteers?

Let’s explore these questions plus any other issues related to volunteers!  Bring your lunch and come prepared to participate in what is sure to be a lively discussion!

Facilitators: Lindsey Lewis, Volunteer Coordinator Rocky Mountain National Park and Sarah Walsh, Executive Director Estes Valley Library Friends & Foundation
Cost: FREE
Registration: Requested
